Miracles

When you almost give up

Be it after a long haul

Or a short run –

Hold on.

At that moment

when you’ve decided to give up –

Control your mind and

Hold on

An hour, a day, a few days

Hold on,

Cuz that’s when happy miracles happen –

They really do happen.

 

Of course you’ll have to do this

Time and again

Such is life

One problem to be fixed and on to the next

Happiness lies in the small gap in between

having one fixed and the next still a fair feet away!

Bitten by the snakes and slipping and sliding

Until you use all the ladders and climb

reach the end and smile and die

Hold on, child –

It does get better.
