Poem : Unplugged

Staring at the smart phone screen

Connected in a second

Disconnected, a sudden movement

– don’t want no talking now.

Thoughts

Wrapping around themselves

Blanketing into a dark room

Comfortable not expressing

Happily discharged.

Words going on a vacation

Lost without ammunition or need

After a lifetime of overuse

Silent and unstrung.

Down come the books;

Untouched a while.

Out comes paper and pen;

Apparatus to write.

Plugged out;

Gadgets.

Tumbles out creativity;

Entwined in Paracosms of mine.

No rush no race

No one to save ..

But myself.
