Till he wills his last,
till he sings out his last breath,
willingly letting his soul cut short the long dalliance with life,
this kindered spirit shall be allowed his life
for as long as it is willed by her-
She who promised him love
and hearth to rest upon:
for their lifelong adventure,
but fell short upon the same!
For here entered cruel fate,
bent upon changing love’s destiny:
throwing each into world’s heaven and hell.
Thus he waited on,
light years unto themselves,
by her will and promise:
For one day would come
Love and warmth and hearth alike
She’d fulfill her promise.
